Despite our horrible winter and non-existent spring, this majestic plant always finds a way to bloom Memorial Day Weekend. 

I really enjoy going to thrift shops to find men’s shirts for their fabric. I’ve developed a new square pattern that varies light and dark to create a new ensemble piece.

I always enjoy playing with the Log Cabin pattern in new ways.
Just by rotating the square, a whole new pattern emerges. It’s more complicated than that and this one was a good challenge.
