Working through another winter storm this weekend. Good thing creativity is not weather dependent!
Finished quilt
Cranberry and Olive
I just finished this one and sent it off to the Newfane Country Store in Newfane, VT.
Finished Quilt: Periwinkle Queen
I am taking another departure from my usual colors and decided to play with more periwinkle pastels. Both my daughters think it is going to sell FAST. I shipped this one off to Newfane Country Store (VT) just last week – along with some others.
Finished Quilt: Ocean Garden
This one is 110″ x 110″. I posted about it as a working in progress “blue and green.”
Finished Quilt: Blue Sunshine
This one is 105 ” x 105″. I posted about it in development as the “shirt quilt.”
More William Morris (NFS)
This is a custom quilt order. I made it from a line of reproduction fabric of William Morris designs. It’s quite spectacular, don’t you think?
Queen Shirt Quilt: Finer Details
I am enjoying exploring new fabric options. My favorite is shirt-fabric. I like to go to the Salvation Army and other thrift stores to pick up these fabulous, striped fabrics and use them in new ways in my quilts. Below is a quilt in the final stages of production. This one is a queen.
Can you recognize the shirt material? Loads of FUN!
