Finished Quilt: Blue Sunshine
This one is 105 ” x 105″. I posted about it in development as the “shirt quilt.”
More William Morris (NFS)
This is a custom quilt order. I made it from a line of reproduction fabric of William Morris designs. It’s quite spectacular, don’t you think?
Queen Shirt Quilt: Finer Details
I am enjoying exploring new fabric options. My favorite is shirt-fabric. I like to go to the Salvation Army and other thrift stores to pick up these fabulous, striped fabrics and use them in new ways in my quilts. Below is a quilt in the final stages of production. This one is a queen.
Can you recognize the shirt material? Loads of FUN!

Taking a Break from “The Machine”…
I’m taking a break from the quilting machine to soak up some sun in Vieques, PR. The sunsets here are *almost* as nice as seen on the Gloucester Quilter webcam.
And I’ve brought along my Again & Again beach bag ~ made in Gloucester, of course, by my friend, Frieda.
I love traveling to new places because they give me so many ideas for new quilts.
